Upcoming Movie: Planes

Thursday, August 29, 2013

After flying around so much recently, I think I have taken a liking to airplanes!

So when I knew this movie was coming to the big screen soon, I was so excited!

The Planes movie poster looks familiar eh? That's right, it's from the same people who produced the super cute movie - Cars!

After Cars (2006) and Cars 2 (2011), the guys at Disney Pixar has come up with yet another good animation - Planes!

Instead of cars, get ready to meet some really funny and friendly planes and join them on their adventure around the world!

1) The main character - Dusty Crophopper

This guy looks very cool in his orange and white suit. But he has got a fear of heights (like me) - seriously?? I didn't know a plane can have a fear of heights!

LOL

Dusty seeks to escape his workaday life of spraying fertilizer on farm fields and enter an around-the-world race intended for much sleeker and more powerful aircraft.

2) Ripslinger

And of course, there must be a bad guy in every movie make it a good one. Ripslinger has won the race 3 times in a row and he is definitely not prepared to give up his winning streak. So Ripslinger will do anything to ensure that Dusty fails in his conquest. Keep a lookout for this bad guy!

Meet the rest of the Planes gang!

(Honestly, I love these vibrant colours on the planes. Can we have such colourful planes for Cathay, Scoot or maybe SQ?)

Check out the trailer of Planes here =)

A special mention to my boyfriend - Stanley Quek!

It was our 8th year anniversary yesterday. Ever since this guy came into my life 9 years ago, it has been everything except boring.

I want to thank him for being so encouraging through this critical period. No matter what I do, he will always be very supportive of my decisions. He might give some unsound advice at times but I am still very appreciative of his support.

He was the one who inspired me to step out and do what I like. Stan always tells me that we only live once, we should spend our life the way we want it. As long as it makes me happy, he will be happy too.

Now, I am much happier. =)
