10 Ways to Survive the Rainy Season in Singapore
1. Bring a pair of slippers along with you, wherever you go. Don't let the water ruin your beloved shoes.
2. Put a hot water bag in office so that you can use it when it's pouring outside and the air-conditioner went haywire.
3. Act like you are experiencing winter and start laying your clothes with thick jackets (just ignore the weird stares from the aunties/uncles).
4. Take pictures of your hot Starbucks drink and post on Instagram for all to see how 'atas' you are.
5. Bring a small plastic bag to contain your soaked-through brolly (in case there are no brolly bags provided at the malls).
6. Use waterproof makeup (Duh. You won't wanna scare people off with mascara running down your face.)
7. Plan all your weekend activities to be indoors. Don't take the risk.
8. Stay at home and shop online. It's addictive.
9. Book a cab for the month of December to chauffeur you around.
10. Avoid low lying areas if you are driving. Otherwise, you might need to take urgent leave to get your car out of the "pond".
