The waiter who served us was a Japanese and before we could finish ordering, he already walked off!He probably doesn't understand English very well and that pissed my mom off.
So it might be better to get a seat around the conveyor belt. So that you don't have to rely on these waiters.
They serve udon too. I didn't get a chance to take picture before my parents tucked into their udon.I opted to eat sushi only! If you are intending to order udon, do top up $6.80 for a sushi platter! Very worth it, in my opinion.
Here are some other sushi we tried that day.Sorry, too tired to write more. Let the pictures do the talking.
The place's pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Most of the patrons were Japanese. One thing to note - they count the plates when you ask for the bill. So one bowl of udon might be equivalent to 2 gold plates.
So don't get surprised if they bring plates to you along with the udon. You can use them, of course. But it's also for them to keep track of the bill later. Different colored plates are worth different prices.
After lunch, I parted from my family to walk to office to catch up on work.Took some pictures along the way to capture the beautiful moments.
After work, I rushed to buy a simple birthday cake from Polar for my dad.He looks very happy when he saw the cake. Makes my effort worthwhile! =)
Happy birthday, Dad!!
Next day, we went to Arbite for brunch.

Pardon my pale face below, still pretty sick after one week plus.
I tried the pancakes this time and they were very good! Compared to the ones at Dean and Deluca, I'd probably head back here because this is more value for money.
Do remember to make a reservation on weekends, they get really packed and you might have to go away disappointed!
Outfit of the Day: Peplum top fromThe Stage Walk, denim shorts, clutch from ASOS and neon pumps from H&M.
Been really busy with work and it gets tiring. I am still trying to keep my weekly updates, pardon me if I don't update as frequently!Once November is over, I should be able to take a breather..
