The cafes or cake places are mostly located in ulu places but not Cake Spade! Once you come out from Tanjong Pagar MRT Exit A, you will be able to see Orchid Hotel (yes, I didn't know this hotel exists till today). And the shop is just round the corner!

Many many cakes to choose from and Wei Sian and I eventually chose two! The more popular ones, obviously.

The bottled tea had very nice packaging! At $3.50 each, quite ok la...

Molten cake $4.20

It was warmed up and perfect for a rainy season! The chocolate wasn't runny in the centre. So if you expect a lava cake, then you'd be disappointed..

Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake $5.90

One of their signature cakes! Can't really taste the cheese and all in all, Wei Sian summed it up in three words: "Tastes like Jellyhearts." 

LOL. And it really tastes like jellyhearts.




The whole place is so small, more suitable for take-out than eating it right there. There were only 6 indoor seats and probably another 6 seats outside the shop. So if you are intending to enjoy your cake there, please go on a weekday afternoon.
