Cafe-hopping to Lowercase at Lasalle ![]() After dinner at Concetto, we adjourned to Lowercase at Lasalle for a chit-chat session. Only to realise that there was some live band performing and we had to shout above the music to talk! ![]() Lowercase 1 McNally St, Blk D #01-01 Singapore 187940 They serve mains too but we already had our dinner. So desserts it shall be! ![]() ![]() ![]() Pretty coffee art are always pleasing to the eyes =) ![]() New York Cheesecake Quite nice but if I don't remember wrongly, the price is kinda steep for such a small piece of cake. I know cakes require a lot of effort, but isn't it better for your reputation if you served bigger portions that make people feel like you have really value-for-money food? ![]() Rainbow Cake I have a thing for rainbow cakes. Whenever I see one, I just HAVE to order it to try. This one is much lighter than the one at Lynn's Cafe (read about it here) and the cream is pretty good. But isn't this slice of cake TOOOOO thin?! Ok, I guess I am just paying for the fanciful coloring and rainbow sprinkles. Not the actual cake. ![]() Seriously, too thin la! Hahahaha.. ![]() This place is pretty nice to chill if there wasn't a live band performing that day. The high ceilings and spacious communal tables makes it very conducive for group gatherings and project discussions. So jealous of the students at Lasalle! Why didn't someone open a cafe in NTU during my time? ![]() Labels: cafe hopping, food galore, friends, rainbow cake |
