Just gonna pepper the pictures with few words to tell you where we went.
Day 1: Incheon Airport and Jongno-3-ga
-Transit in Hong Kong-
We took bus number 6002 from the Incheon International Airport, straight to Jongno-3-ga (where our hotel is).
One way ticket costs 10,000 won per person (S$11.30).
The cold weather is really shocking coz I haven been to a cold country for years. Don't think I packed enough.
And ended up wearing up to 4 or 5 layers during the rest of the trip. Lol
Our first meal in an eatery near our hotel.
Kimchi Jigae and BBQ pork
1st cafe visit for the trip at Healing Hands. So nice to hide in the cafe, away from the rain and cold wind.
Cheese stick for supper from the convenient store. NOT nice at all! Kanna conned by 食尚玩家.
Pa-jeong (seafood pancake) for only 10,000 won! Lots of seafood and spring onions.

Day 2 - Ewha University - Sinchon
Stan's 老爸的路. It's sunny but it feels 'JinJa' cold. (JinJa means "really" in Korean)
Breakfast at Kong's Riceball. Small yet cozy place right at the entrance to Ewha's University. They sell a varied version of Gimbap - Riceball-styled.
Must-have for breakfast - Rameon and Spicy Pork Riceball.
Grabbed a hot chocolate at Dunkin's Donut. Because we needed the loo urgently. Over in Korea, if you need to use the loo, the streets are littered with cafes. Unfortunately, some of them require you to buy something before getting an access code to the loo.
Jam Studio - a small retail shop in an hidden alley. They sell cute pouches, notebooks, stationary and cloths for glasses at unexpectedly low prices.
Retail therapy along the Ewha University's vicinity. This place offers the cheapest prices for clothes that you can find in Seoul. Like in most countries, different shops may have similar designs for sale.
3rd cafe for the trip at Mango Six.
Not sure if you guys watched Gentleman's Dignity. If you did, this is the shop that was featured in the show!
Walking to Sinchon and spotted this landmark there.
There were many new beauty brands popping up in Korea and we decided to give it a try.
Rather than buying from the Face Shop or Nature Republic, the stuff here were equally good and much cheaper!
Another beauty shop we went into - Beyond.
The nice salesgirl did a scalp analysis for both of us to tell us what kind of shampoo we should be using!
Mine is sensitive while Stan's scalp is oily. Right now, we are already using the shampoo from Beyond and it works!
My hair is so soft and Stan's scalp is less oily already! Barely two weeks and we have seen its results!
Dinner/tea break?
If you are a fan of Korean food, you would know that the usual Army Stew in Singapore costs $35 for a pot.
Here, it's only approx S$8 per person and the amount of ingredients that go into the stew is A LOT.
There is the usual ramen, spam, sausage, rice cakes and kimchi. And then there is enoki mushroom, macaroni, minced meat!
Best thing is - FREE FLOW of rice and ramen!!!! Omo omo omo!
Tempura prawns that taste so crispy and fresh! Yums...
Supper was this soft and light cranberry roll from Bread and Co.
Why settle for Paris Baguette when there are so many options here in Korea??
My favorite rice roll in the world - gimbab!!!!!
We couldn't find the usual fat ones and bought this one from the street stalls. Equally yummy!
Banana milk on the right. My third trip to Korea and yet this is the first time I am trying this.
Very strong taste of banana and sweet! I like!
A tour around our hotel room at Hotel Amare.
Small tv screen beside the bed that is supposed to function as the remote control. You can control the TV, aircon, lights and telephone with this screen. Except we don't know how to use it because it's all in Korean.
Two computers in the room plus a couch. Goes to show that there is ample space in the room.

Day 3 - Insadong and Samzigil
More of a traditional street filled with antiques and artsy stuff.
Lunch was bean paste stew and bibimbap!
We tried to find somewhere where the locals go. So as to find the most authentic and nice Korean food!
4th cafe visit - Beans Bins
Free coffee samples offered by the staff! So nice of them =)
Happy Labour Day in advance to all!
Keep a lookout for part 2 coming up soon (I hope)!
