I have been following @CafeHoppingSG on Instagram and saw this cafe on their feed. And so we gave it a try since it's pretty near my place!

Opening hours: 9am - 9pm

Hatched is just a stone's throw away from Assembly Coffee and is actually pretty packed. So I thought Assembly would be packed too. But turns out not! I was really happy to find a rather empty cafe because I absolutely hate crowds.

The place isn't big but definitely cosy. I like the sofa seats, very comfortable!

Cafe Mocha

Disappointing coffee art, in my opinion. Cup isn't even properly cleaned at the rims. Could have been better!

Pull Pork Burger

Very big burger with heavily-spiced pork! For those who love Indian food, perhaps? Not to my liking…

Croissant with Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon

The croissant is huge and all warm and crispy. Goes soooo well with the moist scrambled eggs! Did I mention how good the eggs are? Slightly runny but so flavourful, super yummy! 

All in all, it's a pretty nice cafe to chill at. The prices are nett, without GST or service charge. So don't worry about the hidden charges! Staff are very friendly and always ready to refill the water jugs. We waited quite a while for the food though, even when there was no one else in the cafe. Well, you have been warned not to come here if you are starving or you could end up getting super angsty!
